Our precious Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother, Clinnie Mae Gardner, 94, of Tyler passed from this world to her eternal life with Christ on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

Clinnie was born to Robert and Millessee Loper on July 9, 1917, in Scott County, Mississippi. She married the love of her life, Reverend Clyde H. Gardner in 1933. They were happily married for 30 years.

Clinnie was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Serving the Lord and spreading Christ's gospel was her life's mission. She worked for many years at Green Acres Baptist Church in their nursery. She was loved and adored by many parents and children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Millessee Loper, her beloved husband, Reverend Clyde H. Gardner, two brothers, three sisters, and two great grandsons.

She is survived by son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Bessie Gardner of Tyler; daughter and son in law, Tula and Arthur Honeycutt of Tyler; daughter and son in law, Dorothy and James Ceal of Longview; son and daughter in law, Don and Sue Gardner of Center; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler.

A graveside service for the family will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Wes Bynum will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to First Assembly of God Church (Building Fund), P.O. Box 133139, Tyler, Texas 75713-3139, or The Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd.,Tyler,Texas 75701.
