Mahoning, Aug. 14 - Mrs. Eliza Jane Longstreth Cousins, widow of John Cousins, and a lifelong resident of this section, died Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. Q. McHenry at New Kensington. Several weeks ago she had gone to that place to visit with her children. She had not been in good health for some time but her death came as a shock to a wide circle of friends. Mrs. Cousins had celebrated her 80th birthday on the fourth of this month. She is survived by the following children: William S., of Distant; John, of Johnstown; Robert Dunn of New York City; Mrs. E.J. Bennett of Blairsville; Mrs. B.Q. McHenry & Mrs. W. H. Ross of New Kensington; Mrs. Harry Brown of Natrona; Mrs. J.M. Everetts of Blairsville; Mrs. M.A. Steitzer of Pittsburgh; Mrs. H.B. Roberts of Cincinnati OH. Two daughters and one son preceded her in death. She is also survived by 53 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Frank (Christina) Campbell of McKees Rocks and one brother, Jack Longstreth of Sturgeon, Pa.
Interment will take place in the Stewardson Furnace Cemetery.
