Judy taught kindergarten at Colonial Heights Baptist Church and later at Woodland Hills Baptist Academy, where she had a positive Christian influence on the lives of many children. She had a special gift for working with children, nurturing and instilling love and confidence in all her students. She was deeply loved by not only the children she taught but their parents as well! While living in Columbus, MS, she devoted her time to working at a shelter for abused children. Her family grieves her loss and the love and joy she so freely gave each of us; at the same time, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with those loved ones who went before her.

Visitation will between the hours of 12:30 - 1:30 PM at Bernstein Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of condolences be made to your favorite children's charity, the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
