Beloved son of the late Charles S. Long and Anna Harris Long, he was the husband of Mary Agnes Gallagher. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sons Robert and Charles, and brothers Charles and Herbert Long. He is survived by his brother Thomas Long; children, Anthony J. Long (wife Carol), Frances H. Long (wife Lori), Kathleen M. Long Kelly (husband John), and George Norman Long, Jr. (wife Susan Frisch Long); and 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. George passed away at the home of his daughter from complications of renal failure. He will be deeply missed.
