Jean E. Reichart, 62, formerly of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Apple Valley Rehabilitation Center, Ayer, Mass. She was the wife of Marvin J. Reichart for 45 years.

Born January 19, 1944 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Wollet) Long. Jean grew up in Hanover and resided in the Shirley, Mass. area for over 24 years.

She attended St. Anthony's Church in Shirley, Mass. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Steven J. Reichart of Arizona, David Reichart of Leominster, Mass., and Timothy Reichart of Florida; two daughters, Laura Reichart of Leominster, Mass., and Candace Reichart of Methuen, Mass.; seven grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Long of Hanover; three sisters, Patricia Reichart and Sharon Emig both of New Oxford and Mary Agnes Stonesifer of Hanover.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Long and by a sister, Shirley Forry.

A memorial mass will be held 9 a.m. Friday, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 26 N. Third St., McSherrystown, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel officiating. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown.
