Mrs. Catherine M. Kelly, 68, of 1205 Troy Rd., died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where she had been a patient two weeks.
A native and lifelong resident of Edwardsville, she was born April 14, 1901, the daughter of Thomas J. and Johanna Flavin Long.
She was married to Frank J. Kelly, who survives, Nov. 17, 1926, by the Rev. C.A. O'Reilly in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, James T. Kelly of Des Plaines; six grandchildren; one brother, Edward Long of Alton, and three sisters, Mary Ellen Long, Gertrude Long and Eileen Long, all of Edwardsville.
Her parents, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Altar Society and had served as secretary of the church and school for a number of years.
Friends may call at the Weber Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday.
The Rev. Louis Elbow will officiate at last rites at 9 a.m. Saturday in the church at Notre Dame and Madison Avenues.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The Rosary will be said at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday.
