Dale Earl Lohse
January 5, 1935 - November 13, 1998
Born in Erdahl, Minnesota, Dale was the son of Kurt and Laura Lade Lohse. He married Willy Verbeek July 26, 1957, in Delft, Holland. They moved to Abilene in 1963 from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. He served in Thailand during the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force as a Major Sergeant in 1973 after a twenty-year career. He was a member of the Word of Emmanuel Church.
Dale is survived by his wife, Willy, of Abilene; two sons, Wayne Lohse and Randahl Lohse both of Abilene; one daughter, Shanna Lynn Lohse of Abilene; two daughters-in-law, Sabrina and Debra, both of Abilene; and two grandchildren, Blake and Clayton Lohse of Abilene. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
