Doris Emma Lohse Parker, longtime resident of Poth, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 11:45 P.M., at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, 28 days.
Doris was born February 13, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Edgar Rehfeld and Selma Traeger Rehfeld. She attended school in McCoy, and was a homemaker. Doris was a member of the Grand Lodge of the Order of the Sons of Hermann, and a member of First Lutheran Church in Floresville, Texas.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Selma Rehfeld; and her first husband, Raymond Lohse.
Visitation began at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at First Lutheran Church in Floresville, officiated by Marybeth Howe, Intern.
Interment followed at Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville, Texas.
