Nola Mae Boudreau, 89, of Donaldson, Iowa, formerly of rural Canton, died Thursday, October 17, 1996, in the Henry County Health Center at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Born Oct. 3, 1907, near Canton, she was a daughter of Fred and Clara Reichling Logsdon. She married William F. Boudreau Feb. 22, 1933, at St. Patrick. He preceded her in death April 10, 1996. Mrs. Boudreau was a homemaker and had taught school for one year at Fair Oak School in rural Lewis County. She was a graduate of St. Patrick High School and had attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton. She was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church and Daughter of Isabel. Survivors include one son, Eston Boudreau of rural Kahoka, one daughter, Mrs. Eileen Kirchner of Hillsboro, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Russell and Edward Logsdon, both of Canton; three sisters, Dorothy Jones of Flint, Mich., Margie Donaldson and Josephine Moeller of Mexico; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Frank Logsdon; one grandson Christopher Lynn Kirchner; and one great-granddaughter, Kelsey Mehmert. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m., at the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church at St. Patrick, with Rev. Michael Murphy and Rev. John Speigel officiating. Music was provided by Lucille Danker and the St. Patrick Men's Choir. Pallbearers were David Boudreau, Brent Kirchner, Chuck Kirchner and Brian Kirchner. Interment was in St. Patrick Cemetery at St. Patrick. Memorials may be made to the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church or to First Responders of Houghton, Iowa.
