DAVENPORT - Celebration of Life Services for Clarence H. "Boogie" Logas, Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Clarence died Monday, March 4, 2002, at his home. Boogie retired in 1981 from Ralston Purina, where he was a cleaning house operator. He was born May 13, 1916, in Lansing, Iowa, to Henry and Mary (Zieglemaier) Logas. He married Josephine Powell in 1933 in St. Louis. She died in 1936. He married Marie Comer in 1946 in Davenport. She died in 1976. He married Eleanor Smith in 1982 in Davenport. They were married 20 years. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; daughter, Mary Fellows (and Doug), Davenport; stepdaughter, Shelley Parker (and Drake), Princeton, Iowa; sons, Donald Logas (and Rita), Davenport, and Richard Odekirk (and Sharon), South Point, Ohio; stepsons, Paul Buchanan, of Michigan, Chris Gomez, Davenport, and John Gomez (and Terry), North Fort Myers, Fla.; 37 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen Williams, Maquoketa, Iowa. He was preceded in death by two wives, Josephine Logas in 1936 and Marie Logas in 1976; a daughter, Shirley Gomez, in 1994; and three sisters.
