Lenora M. Bechtel, 93, of DuBois, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on June 24, 1916 in DuBois, she was the daughter of Charles and Janet (Thomas) Logan.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in DuBois.
Mrs. Bechtel was a member of the DuBois Women's Club and volunteered at the DuBois Senior Center. She also belonged to the Memory Circle.
She is survived by her husband, Roland E. Bechtel, whom she married May 4, 1936, a son, Roland Bechtel, Jr of Treasure Lake, four grandchildren: Bradley Bechtel of Harrisburg, Nina Knox of Treasure Lake, Roland Bechtel III of Sunman, IN, and Charles Bechtel of Lebanon, OH; nine great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Janet "Peggy" Rosselli of Clearfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bechtel has survived the death of her parents, a son, Charles L. Bechtel, a daughter-in-law, Linda (Grady) Bechtel, a grandson, Grady Bechtel, a brother, William Logan, and four sisters: Cecilia Campbell, Betty Jane Dickey, Maxine Gardella, and Dorothy Robbins.
Funeral services will be held at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Debra Rogosky officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Saturday from 11:00 until the hour of services.
