On January 26, 1893 she married Max C. Lockenvitz Sr. in Bloomington, Illinois. He died in 1936.
She was a member of St. Lukes Evengelical and Reformed Church and of Camp 190, Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving at her death were six sons Carl Lockenvitz, Edward Lockenvitz, Ernest Lockenvitz, Harry Lockenvitz, Max C. Lockenvitz Jr. and Harold Lockenvitz; three daughters Mrs. Frank Swibaker, Mrs. Gus Beyer and Mrs. Charles Totterer; 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Her funeral and burial were on April 25, 1949.
