ARMSTRONG, Alice D., age 86, of Monroe, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at the Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born June 2, 1921 in Wolfe County, Kentucky the daughter of Robert and Emily Little. Alice was a member of the Amanda United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Paula VanGuelpen of Middletown; two sons, Mike (wife, Vengie) Armstrong of Trenton, Ted Armstrong of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Belinda, Blake, Alysia; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin A. Armstrong in 1988 and her parents. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with the Dr. Roger Green officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
