Phyllis and her husband have lived in Vernal for the last seven years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, ceramics, floral arranging, and crafts of any kind. She was very musical and could play almost any musical instrument handed to her. In her youth, she was a member and singer of a country western band. Phyllis was creative, talented and shared her talents with those around her. She loved cooking and traveling, but loved her family the most.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Hank; children, Danny (Tiffany) Litster, Gary (Meridee) Litster, and Nicholas Litster; daughters, Terry (Dave) Ransom, Robyn Coleman, Lori (Paul) Whitlock, and Keri (Boyd) Cox, Brother; James (Sandra) Leath, and sister, Joy (Chuck) Scilcluna, 20 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Phyllis will be held Saturday, April 30 at the Ashley 1st Ward LDS Chapel (3040 North Vernal Avenue). Viewings will be held Friday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, and one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
