Virginia M. Buff, 85, of Defiance, passed away January 10, 2015, at the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center. She was born on November 26, 1929, to Ira and Mabel (Beindorf) Linebrink in Jewell, Ohio. On February 19, 1949, she married Floyd Buff, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2005. She worked at the National Memorial Stone Company in Defiance for 36 years, retiring in 1990, and enjoyed her fishing trips to Canada. Virginia is survived by her son, Rick Buff of Defiance; daughter, Sue (James) Kehnast of Defiance; four grandchildren, Sally Kehnast and Greg (Jenna) Kehnast, Nick Buff and Noah Buff; two great-grandchildren, Brynnleigh and Braelyn Kehnast; and a brother, Jerry (Ann) Linebrink of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Richard, Clarence and Marvin Linebrink; and a sister, Dorothy Thomas. Visitation will be held at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 13, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 14, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the Evansport Cemetery. -Published: January 12, 2015
