Visitation and viewing will begin at noon on Sunday, Nov.1, at Chaney-Walters Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 n.m. Monday,Nov. 2, at Faith United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roger McGlaughlin and the Rev. Dale Lindstrom officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Boegler was born on July 30, 1932 in Sterling to Lorin and Doris (Witter) Lindstrom. She grew up in Sterling, attended school and graduated from high school here. She continued her education to become a teacher in the public school system.On June 11, 1955 she married Richard Boegler in the Kelly community.She lived in Torrance,Calif., Guatemala City,Guatemala, and moved from Miami, Fla. four years ago to Sterling. She enjoyed travel,gardening, reading, sewing,and handwork.She was a member of FirstFoursquare Church and the Tri-LC Homemakers Club.She is survived by her parents, Lorin and Doris Lindstrom of Sterling; two daughters, Roxane Mercer and husband Doug of Loveland and Rhonda Boegler of Denver;one granddaughter, Andriana Mercer of Loveland; a sister,Paula Stensvaag of Hampton,Va.; two brothers, Gilbert Lindstrom of Sterling and the Rev.Dale Lindstrom of Cedaredge.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in May 1971.Memorial contributions may be made to the Sanctuary,the Uncompahgre Baptist Association, or the Midwest Evangelistic Association, Inc.
