Charles "Charlie" Crawford Lindsay, 88, of Springfield died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at St. John's Hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1912, in Morrisdale, Pa., the son of Crawford and Agnes Davison Lindsay. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Kayma in 1932 in Philipsburg, Pa.
Mr. Lindsay was the previous owner of Pre-Hop Cleaners and was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors: wife, Betty; four sons, Charles K. (wife, Sharon) Lindsay of Pleasant Plains and James L. (wife, Kathy), Thomas C. (wife, Sheri) and Donald W. (wife, Vicki) Lindsay, all of Springfield; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services: Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Glen A. VanderKloot officiating. Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
