ACKLEY, MARIAN G., 90, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at her home. She was the former Marian Lindley and a native of Wheeler, OR. She was a retired music teacher from the Compton City Schools, Compton, CA, and a member of Christ Community Church of the Nazarene in New Albany. Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Garreans (Lance) of Dallas, TX, and Linda Kochersperger (Tony) of Jeffersonville, IN; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Christ Community Church of the Nazarene in New Albany, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday at the Garr Funeral Home.
