Mrs. Black was born July 23, 1916, in Kenosha, Wis. She moved to Portland in the mid-1940s and was a housewife. She married Vernon E. in 1946; he died in 1987.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Eggers of Portland; and four grandchildren.
Interment was in River View Cemetery. Arrangements were by Killingsworth Little Chapel of the Chimes.
