Minta (Lincoln) Dennis Howard was the daughter of John R. Lincoln and Belinda Keenan Lincoln. She married William F. Dennis on July 26, 1888 in Boone, Iowa, and was his second wife. Her sister, Kathryn "Kate" was first married to Mr. Dennis, before she died. Minta later married Robert Howard on September 3, 1890 in Polk County, Iowa, after her husband, William F. Dennis, died.
Approximate date of death is given as before 1900 per Arminta's great grand niece. and is not listed in the 6/6/1900 census

Mrs. Robert Howard, of Madrid, Was Thrown from a Buggy.
MADRID, Dec. 29.-- Mrs. Robert Howard was thrown from a buggy and her skull was crushed. She died in a short time. She and John Slick, a liveryman, started out for a drive, the team ran away and this was the result. Mrs. Howard was a woman about 30 years old and leaves a husband and two children, one by a former husband. She bore a good reputation. Some sensational stories are afloat about the possibility of murder, but they are generally not credited.
