She was born Oct. 30, 1921, in Minersville, Utah, to Franklin Irving Pryor and Ima Myers. She was the oldest of six children.
Norma was reared in Minersville. It was while she was attending high school in Beaver, Utah, that she met her future husband, Byron Ray Limb. On Sept. 25, 1936, they were married in Parowan, Utah, and in July 1953, the marriage was solemnized in the Manti, Utah, LDS Temple. On Sept. 10, 1937, she gave birth to a son, Byron Frank Limb, and on April 14, 1940, a daughter, Sherrie, joined the family. After living in Utah, they moved to Ruth, Nev., in 1944, where Byron worked for Kennecott Copper Corp. as a heavy-duty mechanic.
They lived in Ruth and Ely, Nev., for 35 years. Byron retired from Kennecott in 1976 and three years later they moved to Orem, Utah, residing there for five years. In 1984, Norma and Byron moved to Rexburg, Idaho.
Norma enjoyed reading, cooking, styling and cutting hair, temple work and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions in the Relief Society, Primary and Young Women's organizations at the ward and stake level.
