Speculation that Nancy is the daughter of Micajah Liles and Nancy Woodard.

Speculation that Nancy is the mother of Amaziah Liles.

Neither have been proven at this time.

She is the Nancy Liles who was the subject of a bench warrant for what is commonly referred to as a Bastardy Bond.
The warrant is dated June 7, 1813. No gender or age of the child is stated on the warrant. It should be noted that Green Alford served as a Justice on the panel that heard the case. Nancy appeared on June 19, 1813 and paid for the bond.

Married Green Alford on July 26, 1813 in Wake County, North Carolina.

Eleven children. 9 daughters and 2 sons.

Nancy, you are a colorful character who has enriched my family history study. You are not forgotten, and that's a good thing. I hope we get you memorialized where you belong. - for the Collins Girls of Colorado
