Bio found in The Cuero Star circa 1895. Im thinking Ley sold his drug store to dentist Dr. DeViney, DDS as both are recorded in the same area at a time when numbered addresses don't exist yet.

Published Dec 19, 1884 in The Cuero Bulletin. Ley has started a side business to go with the family drug store.

The Leys are still well known around Cuero. This 1899 prescription shows his son' signature. Ley took over Doell Drug Store sometime after marrying Doell's daughter. Dr. CB Phillips wrote the prescription for antikamnia (fever reducer) & salolis.
