Hazel L. Burns, daughter of Arthur A. Lewis and Ethel M. Robinson. She grew up in Gooding, Idaho. She met Darrel K Burns when still in High School and he was a bellhop in Shoshone, ID. They married in Gooding, ID when Darrel was in the Navy. They moved to Los Alamos in 1957 when purchasing Radio Station KRSN. Hazel is known for her kindness and having a listening ear. She made wonderful bread, cinnamon rolls and raspberry jam which she shared with friends and neighbors. She kept the home fires burning as Darrel worked long hours at KRSN.
