She was preceded in death by her husband, E. R. (Toone) Cox.
She was retired from Roanoke Mills.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ann C. and Edgar A. Musgrove, Martinsville; one grandson, Michael A. Musgrove, Bassett; one granddaughter, Sharon M. McGuire, Martinsville; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Lee Lewis, Salem; two sisters, Dottie L. Simmons, Roanoke, Rebecca L. Alderson, Sutherlin.
Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon, Saturday, January 28, 1995, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. D. C. (Neil) Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. The family will receive friends, Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
