Lottie Mae Lewis Head, 90, of 401 Lancaster St., died Oct. 5, 2003.
Born in Franklin County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Silas and Viola Sanders Lewis and was the widow of Walter Head. Before her retirement, she was employed with Woodside Mills. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Brown, of Simpsonville; two sisters, Vera Dean, of Greenville, and Betty Pardue, of Columbia; five grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hershal Hurst; a daughter, Mary Lee Hooper; a grandson, David Hooper Jr.; and two brothers, B.F. and Lumis Lewis.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at Graceland Cemetery, West.
The family is at 401 Lancaster St., Simpsonville.
