Citizens & Georgian - Montezuma, Ga. April 27, 1972 - MRS. CHARLES BLACKWELL LEWIS

Mrs. Tecoah Hendry Lewis, 83, widow of the late Charles B. Lewis, one time head of the Small Business Administration in Washington, D. C., and a familiar figure in Georgia banking circles, died Sunday. Mrs. Lewis passed away in a Canton nursing home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Lewis was a graduate of Wesleyan College in Macon. She was a member of the Montezuma United Methodist Church.
Graveside services were held in Felton Cemetery at 11 AM Tuesday, April 25, 1972, with the Rev. R. O. Edenfield officiating.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ida Belle Hendry Harner of Waynesboro, Ga. three nieces, Mrs. Tecoah Harner Tucker of Atlanta, Mrs. Martha Jane Rannenberg of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Ida Belle Clarke of New Jersey; three nephews, Charles Lewis Brooks of Dalton, Dr. Joseph W. Harner of Anniston, Ala., and Norman Grady of St. Simons Island, Ga.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
