He leaves to cherish his memories children, Terrie (Robert) Keuchler of Pickerington, Ohio, Darren Levi, George Bethea, and Maurice (Tammy) Calloway of Gary, Indiana, Bruce (Lovey) Stroud of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Levi, Prattville, Alabama; sister, Annie (Darnell) Murphy of Chicago, Illinois; and brother, Steve (Sandra) Montgomery, Calumet City, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, December 19th, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Major's life will immediately follow all services will be held at Guy & Allen Funeral Home, 2959 West 11th Avenue, Gary, Indiana.
