MAJOR LEVI Obituary -- MAJOR LEVI -- Major Levi, age 88, passed away December 11th, 2009. Major is retired from US Steel. He is preceded in death by wife, Bobbie J. Levi. He leaves to cherish his memories children, Terrie (Robert) Keuchler of Pickerington, Ohio, Darren Levi, George Bethea, and Maurice (Tammy) Calloway of Gary, Indiana, Bruce (Lovey) Stroud of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Levi, Prattville, Alabama; sister, Annie (Darnell) Murphy of Chicago, Illinois; and brother, Steve (Sandra) Montgomery, Calumet City, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday, December 19th, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Major's life will immediately follow all services will be held at Guy & Allen Funeral Home, 2959 West 11th Avenue, Gary, Indiana. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Gary, Indiana. Professional services rendered by Guy & Allen Funeral Directors, Incorporated.
