Mr. George Lett, Sr.- was born July 26, 1926 and was called to his eternal home on October 25, 2009. Preceding him in their homegoing was his loving wife, Mrs. Ethel P. Lett, his parents Mr. Ceasar and Edwina Lett, his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Willie and Virginia Lee, his son, LeAndrew (Sonny) Lett and his sister, Loretta Mose. Memories of his life and love will always live in the hearts of his devoted and loving son, George (Barbara) Lett, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, grandchildren Nedra M. Hill of Akron, Ohio, Derek Lett of Richmond Virginia, Ciscerly Daniels of Mobile, Alabama, Quinton (Vivian) Stanley of Orlando, Florida; three great grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, five sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, two faithful and loving nieces, Lula Mose and Pamela (Edward) Robinson both of Mobile, Alabama. A devoted great niece, Carla Mose of Mobile, Alabama, a loving aunt, Virginia Woodard, two loving cousins Leemon (Helen) Perkins, and John Henry (Audrey) Nealy, a dedicated god-daughter, Mary (Willie) Davis. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in the Small's Mortuary Chapel, Mobile, Alabama, until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour.
