LEMASTERS RITES ARE SET
Services for Mrs. Alta Lemasters, 87, 518 W. Hendricks St., who died Friday at 12:20 p.m. at Major Hospital, will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Ewing Mortuary with the Rev. Archer Shirley officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Lemasters was admitted to the hospital Nov. 6 following a stroke at her home.
Born Aug. 12, 1884, in Moral Township, she was the daughter of Abram and Nancy J. (Means) King. In December, 1905, she was married to John Lemasters and he died in September, 1945.
A resident of Shelbyville for the past 26 years, Mrs. Lemasters, who was well known for her rug weaving, had spent her entire life in Shelby county.
Only survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Martin Luther and Mrs. Helen Wilkins, Shelbyville, and four nephews, Kenneth C. King, Shelbyville, John A. King, R.R. 1, Needham, Raymond A. King, Edinburg, and William H. King.
