Margaret was born March 19, 1918, at Big Stone Gap, VA, to the late George A. and Josie M. (Dix) Leedy.
Margaret had been a seamstress with the former Hampstead Clothing Factory in Maryland for 20 years.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hampstead, MD, and taught Sunday School and helped with Bible School at the church many years earlier.
Margaret belonged to the Mt. Carmel Senior Center in Parkton, MD, where she helped with various duties and activities.
Surviving are her three daughters and sons-in-law, Dixie L. Raffensparger and husband, John H., Sr. of Parkton, Donna C. Steger of Lineboro, and A. Detre Kline and husband, Donald T. of Monkton, MD; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; a niece; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James A. Leedy.
Interment: St. Abrahams Cemetery, Beckleysville.
