Born Lorraine Leavens, she moved to Port Richmond after she graduated from high school in Brooklyn.
Ms. Amon worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for various businesses, including Conoco Roofing, in Brooklyn.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ms. Amon is survived by her sons, James, Keith, and Frank Amon; her daughter, Deborah Plescia; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Meislohn-Silvie Funeral Home, Port Richmond.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton.
