Herman C Leathewood, age 47, died Sunday evening at his residence near Farmville. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mettie F. Leatherwood, his wife, Pauline Maker Leatherwood, daughter, Joyce L Shelton, all of Farmville; two sisters, Mrs. Hallie Maples of Farmville, Mrs. Mary Legg of Richmond, four brothers, Frank Leatherwood of Keysville, Fred Leatherwood of Portsmouth, Roy and Carl Leatherwood, both of Farmville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11am in the chapel of the Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville. Interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens, near Rice.
