She was predeceased by her parents, Lydia Mae Leathers and Henry Harold Leathers. She was also predeceased by five brothers, Leslie, Cecil, Ralph, James, and Kenneth Leathers; and four sisters, Arleta Clark, Minnie Engstrom, Myrtle King, and Pauline Perkins. She is survived by her husband Floyd Hartley of Millinocket, Maine; two sons Christopher Hartley of Millinocket, Maine, and Tony Furbush of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. She is also survived by grandchildren, a brother Harold "Sonny" Leathers of Waldo, Maine; five sisters Verna Pinkerton of Belfast, Maine, Hazel Denton of Arizona, Florence "Ruby" Curtis of Lewiston, Maine, Juanita Richards of Madison, Maine, Leona Perkins of Dexter, Maine; and several nieces and nephews in the Belfast, Maine area.
