Mrs. Loretta Leatherman Hall, age 59, of 6746 Beam Lumber Co.Road, Vale, NC died on Wednesday February 6, 2008.
Her funeral will be 2:00pm today, February 8, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Don Willis officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. her body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family received friends from 7 pm until 9 pm Thursday evening at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton.
Mrs. hall was born to Judson leatherman and Charlene parker Leatherman. She was preceded in death by a husband, George Charlie Bivens, a brother, Judson Leatherman Jr. and two sisters, Wanda Lee Leatherman and Nadine Leatherman.
Loretta was a records technician with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie hall of the home; sons, kevin Bivens and wife Vickie of Hickory, Glynn Bivens and wife Robin of Louisville, KY; daughter, Wendy Bivens Brewer and husband Tedd of Hickory; mother Charlene parker Leatherman of Vale; borhters Gene Leatherman of Vale, Eddie Ray Leatherman and wife Kathy of Freehold, NJ; sister, Glinda parker and husband Danny of Fallston; eight grandchildren.
