Evelyn was very active in church, school, and community organizations. She was a member of the Rockville First United Methodist Church; Coloma Needle Club, Friendly Circle Home Ec Club, Order of Eastern Star Chapter #177, and The Longtime Planning Committee of Parke County. Evelyn was President of Parke County Home Ec Club, Eastern Star Worthy Matron and Grand Representative of Indiana Chapters to Colorado's Grand Chapter.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Harney and her son, Ronald Stutler. Surviving are daughter Sharon Stutler of Oldsmar, FL, sons Joe Stutler of Cheboygan, MI, Karl Stutler (wife Theresa) of Indianapolis, IN and daughter-in-law Sharon Stutler (wife of Ronald) of Mission TX. She is survived by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great-great grand children. Her sister-in-law, Maxine Scott, and brother in law, Kenneth Stutler, also survive.
Visitation will be held at Gooch Funeral Home, Rockville, IN, on Tuesday, October 19, from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Rockville First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 20, at 11:00am. Burial will be at Memory Gardens in Rockville, IN. Arrangements by Gooch Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rockville First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 142, Rockville, IN 47872."
