Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Benson Frye, 63, wife of the Rev W. A. Frye, pastor of the First Pilgrim Holiness church of Frankfort were held Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the First Pilgrim Holiness church with the Rev. Area Montgomery officiating. The body was taken at noon Sunday to Elwood where services were held in the Pilgrim Holiness church with the Rev. Mr, Montgomery, assisted by the Rev. George Huff of Elwood officiating. Interment was In the Elwood cemetery.

Mrs. Frye died late Friday night at the family residence, 58 West White street, after an illness of four years. A daughter of Frank and Josephine (Clark) Lawville {sic}, she was born in Aberdeen, O., Oct. 27, 1874. On Sept. 15, 1895, she was married to the Rev. Mr. Frye who survives with four sons, Ralph of this city, Eugene of Elwood, Carl of Miami, Fla., and Everett of Troy, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Chase of Troy. O., Mrs. Naomi Wood of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Daisy Etchison of Elwood. A sister, Mrs. Ruth Shelton of Cincinnati, O., and three brothers, William Lawville {sic} of Aberdeen, O,, Marlon Lawville {sic} of Rock Island, Ill. and Elmer Lawville {sic} of Mt. Orab, O. also survive.
