Helen Louise Davis ”Dude”, of Morristown went home to be with her Lord and Savior as well as many other loved ones on September 22, 2014 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 69 years old and was born December 24, 1944.
Helen retired from Triangle Pacific and later owned and ran L’il Dandy Market. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Talbott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Davis; mother and father, Katherine and Dana Lawson; sisters, Maggie Burns, Alice Wright, Betty Ann Lawson; brothers, J.C., John, James, Buster and Tom Lawson.
She is survived by brothers, Lynn (Rusty) and wife Linda; Jerry Wayne and wife Renee’ Lawson; sister, Florence Allen and husband Tommy Joe; special niece Traci Lawson Looney, special nephews Tom Lawson and Don Wright; nieces Mindy Lawson, Mary Wright, Kay Burns; great nieces and nephews, Kandice, Mercedes and Seirra Looney, Faith Gosnell, Morgan Lawson, Tori Gosnell; great nephews, Lukas Lawson, Jimmy and Austin Gosnell; great-great nephews, Lofton and Jordan Looney; special friends Betty Walker and Georgia; loving neighbors and friends, Jim and Shirley, Chris and Betty Stout and Janice; Larry and Linda Faye.
A private service will be held at a later date at Liberty Presbyterian Cemetery in Saint Clair.
In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made in Helen’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Cancer Society or Humane Society in your area.
