Longtime companions Barbara Laughton and Stanley Goselin passed away in their home within four days of each other. For over 30 years, the two of them were devoted to one another in every way.

Barbara Ellen Laughton, 62, was born to Eugenia and John Collins in Billings. She left us on Jan. 18, 2014. She grew up in Billings and worked at the Empire Bar and the Southern Empire Emporium for 25 years.

Barbara loved gardening and kept meticulous records each year, along with photo albums full of pictures to plan for next year's flower beds. She couldn't wait to get her hands in the dirt each spring. She was very excited to be calls "Grams" when her two granddaughters were born. Christmas and Halloween were her favorite holidays and she decorated to the hilt and would spend weeks baking for Christmas. Everyone in the family came home with enough treats to last for months.

She was a very giving and caring person who painstakingly wrapped each and every gift she gave, always looking for the most beautiful paper with perfectly matching ribbons and bows. Barb's other loves in her life were daytime soap operas and her beloved Pomeranian, Nikki.
