Mrs. Laughlin Taken At 54
East End Woman's Rites Set Monday
Mrs. Ida Mae Twyford Laughlin, 54, wife of Edgar B. Laughlin, 2025 Michigan Ave., died Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Rochester General Hospital, following a seven-week illness. Mrs. Laughlin was born March 19, 1898, in Harrisville, W. Va., and spent practically her lifetime in East Liverpool. She attended the Boyce Methodist Church. She leaves a son, Jack B. Laughlin at Ft. Custer, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Surgeon of East Liverpool; her stepmother, Mrs. Harley Fuller of East Liverpool; a brother, Bernard J. Twyford of Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. George Miller of East Liverpool, R. D. 1, and Mrs. B. J. Berhalter and Mrs. Howard McElravy of East Liverpool, and two grandchildren. Rites will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul C. Bailey, pastor of the Boyce church, assisted by the Rev. Guy U. Brown, pastor of the Oakland Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery near Hookstown. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
