Mrs. Mina Margret Lathrop's Obituary
Mrs. Mina M. Lathrop, 84, a resident of the Good Samaritan Home at Ottumwa Municipal Airport, died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at Ottumwa Hospital following a short illness.
She was the daughter of John and Mary (Kerr) Brown and was born in Ohio Aug. 19, 1879. She had been a resident of Ottumwa most of her life.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist and was a past Noble Grand of Enterprise Rebeckah Lodge No. 19.
She was married to Thomas Luther Lathrop in 1900 in Ottumwa. He preceded her in death in 1941.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were one son in infancy, three brothers and two sisters.
The service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in charge of Mrs. John A. Lowenberg, first reader of the First Church of Christ Scientist.
Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
