Howard E. Lasley, 74, of Lafayette, died at 9:02 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Indiana Veterans' Home.
He was born Oct. 27, 1935 in Lebanon to the late Mearle E. and Clara A. Garner Lasley. Surviving are his children, Caren Williams, Christine Cline, Clifford Lasley, Curtis Lasley, Steve Lasley, Rick Lasley and Sgt. Robert W. Lasley stationed in Kuwait; a sister, Helen Stingley (husband: Malcolm) of Lafayette; a brother, Layne Lasley (wife: Patricia) of Romney; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He served 19 years in the U.S. Army.
