Leesville - Mrs. Sandra (Jerry K) Laseter Collins, went to her eternal home on September 9, 2014. Mrs. Collins was the daughter of the late James R. and Malvina Croxton Laseter of Columbia, S.C., and was born on September 11, 1944, in Columbia, S.C. She graduated from Dreher High School in 1962.

Mrs. Collins was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She took great pleasure in her family, her church, and friends. She was steadfast in her faith to God and was very devoted in telling others of how God helped her in this life.

She and her husband owned and operated a well-known restaurant, Jerry Kelly's, of which they managed together for 31 years. Mrs. Collins was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman which she enjoyed with her late husband. She was a member of the Surfside Pier Float Fishing Association.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her wonderful daughters, Samantha (Mandy) and husband, Rev, Chris Addy, of Gilbert, S.C., Laura Thomason, of Gilbert, S.C., "Son", Doug Smith, of Wagener, SC, five grandchildren whom she absolutely adored; Ashley and Anna Addy, Brittani Thomason Wise (Aaron), Morgan Thomason (Dustin Waller) and Tori Thomason; 6 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Tyeler, Kenslee and Charlee Wise, and KayLeigh and Savana Waller. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Barbara Collins of St. Petersburg, Florida, her many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins, and her many close and special friends. She will be sorely missed by her companion, Junior (squirrel dog).

Mrs. Collins' life will be celebrated at Bethcar Baptist Church in Wagener, S.C. Friday at 2 pm, Rev. Chris Addy, her son-in-law and pastor, will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tommy Croxton, Glenn Gage, Doug Smith, DJ Smith, Aaron Wise, Dustin Waller, Sam Clarke and Kyle Clarke. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Eula Heath Fidelis Sunday School Class from Bethcar Baptist Church, and all members of the Surfside Pier Float Fishing Association. Burial will be at Celestial Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, S.C.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8pm at Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel in Wagener, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 28 years. Thank you to all who made her life wonderful and to God who graciously blessed her. Memorials may be made to Bethcar Baptist Church 950 Bethcar Church Rd., Wagener, SC 29164.
