LASATER WILLIAM H. was born in San Francisco November 10, 1920. Passed away after a violent struggle with diabetes on August 23, 2001. Bill was the beloved husband of Ruth for fourteen years; father of Thomas Lasater and Catherine Lucas, both of Pennsylvania; and dear grandfather of four grandchildren. Bill was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Oakland. He was a life member of the U.C. Berkeley Alumni Association, the Big "C" society and a member of the Theta Delta Chi Fraternity. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the South Pacific during WWII. Visitation will be held at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel Sunday Aug. 26, 2001 from 12 to 5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Walnut Creek Monday Aug. 27 at 10:00 AM. Memorial; donations may be made to Kaiser Hospice, 1425 S. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA 94596. Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel 925-934-5400.
