Marilyn Larrimore Bellamy entered the presence of the Lord on January 8, 2016 following an extended illness.
Born April 6, 1937, in Marion County, Mrs. Bellamy was the daughter of the late Walter Harley "Buck" Larrimore and Bessie Williams Larrimore. She was the beloved wife of Roosevelt H. Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, and they shared their life for more than 57 years. She was a talented homemaker with many gifts, which included sewing, cooking and gardening. She was a cherished and devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach.
Mrs. Bellamy is predeceased by her parents; a sister, Opal L. Grieser and two brothers, Oscar Levoye Larrimore and Delmus Larrimore.
Surviving are her husband, Roosevelt H. Bellamy of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Cynthia B. Ammons of Myrtle Beach and Wendy B. Anderson of Benson, NC; two sisters, Olivia L. Abrams of Myrtle Beach and Alpha L. Schultz of Pawleys Island. Mrs. Bellamy is also survived by five grandsons, Ryan Ammons (Mandi) and Rhett Ammons (Sayla), David Anderson Jr. (Kristen), Zachary and Jacob Anderson and seven great grandchildren.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her influence and spirit will endure through all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
