Mrs. Larisey was born in Wayne County, NC on February 1, 1939, a daughter of the late Dr. James Adams Hayne, Jr., and Lorraine Evelyn Stahl Hayne.
Bay was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Clemson University, Valedictorian of her class at Wade Hampton High School, and retired as a School Teacher.
She enjoyed boating, fishing, NASCAR racing, playing cards with friends, and especially Clemson Football.
Bay was the widow of David Eugene Jeffcoat and William Stokes Larisey. Surviving are: three sons: David E. and wife Kathy Jeffcoat of Cincinnati, OH, Jay and wife Gary Jeffcoat of Little River, and Robert H. Jeffcoat and friend Virginia White and daughter Sarah of Moncks Corner, one brother: John C. and wife Joye Foster of Varnville; two sisters: Margaret F. Curtis of Ridgeland and Mary P. Foster of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren: Megan and husband Matt Flannigan, Janie and Shelby Jeffcoat.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. March 11, 2014, in the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Hampton, SC, with burial to follow in Fairfax Cemetery.
