Mrs. Mary Ennis, 76, of 68, Oakland Ave., Ashland, died early Tuesday morning at Ashland State Hospital. She had been admitted as a medical patient August 7.
Born in Shenandoah, Mrs. Ennis spent most of her life in Ashland. She is the daughter of the late William and Mary (Purcell) Large. Her husband, Charles, died 14 years ago. She was member of St Joseph's Church, Ashland.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dillman, of Sudsky, Ohio; Mrs. Marguerite Kulkoskie, Mrs. Marie Kehler, and Mrs. Russell Snyder, all of Ashland; three sons, James, of Gordon; William and Charles, both of Ashland; 33 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Friday morning from her late home. Mass in St Joseph's Church. Interment in St Joseph's Cemetery.
