She was raised a Quaker Baptist. Born on Greenwood Farm in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Piscator Langstroth and a Lehman. She was married to Francis Anthony Drexel on September 28, 1854. She gave birth to daughters Elizabeth Langstroth in 1855 and Katharine Mary in 1858. Hannah died shortly after the birth of Katharine. Her daughter Katherine Mary later became Saint Katharine Drexel. Hannah was orginally buried in the Germantown Baptist Church Burial Ground. In a conversation with the retired pastor of the Ambler Church of the Brethren, I was told that Hannah's remains were eventually reinterred in one of the Catholic cemeteries in Philadelphia. Research continues.
