MAYODAN Mrs. Bernice Ada Landreth Barrow, 91, of 307 Ayersville Rd., died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at her home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mayodan Moravian Graveyard.

Mrs. Barrow was born in Rockingham County, May 2, 1911, to the late Peter and Ada Rhodes Landreth . She retired from Washington Mills, Inc. and Tultex Corporation with 50 years of service. She was a member of the Mayodan Moravian Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barrow was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Barrow.

Survivors include a son, Larry Wayne Barrow and daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Barrow, of Stoneville; a daughter, Barbara Ann Barrow Gann and husband, Everette "Ebb"of Mayodan; two grandchildren, Larry Wayne Barrow, Jr. and George Blake Gann and wife, Lisa; step-granddaughter, Joy Baker and husband, Tony; and one great-grandchild, Shawn Blake Gann and wife, Mary; brother-in-law, Paul Wray; special nieces, Dot Finkelstein, Alma Lewis, India Heffinger, Ann Knight and special friends, Margaret George, Debbie Gravely, Pat Watson and Charles Mullis.
