Services held at the United Pentecostal Church in Breckenridge.

She moved from Shelbyville, Tennessee to Stephens County, Texas.

Survived by her husband - C.Y. Coker; four sons - Robert Alford Merritt of Chattanooga, TN, Alvis Merritt of Montgomery, AL, Charlie D. Merritt of Anniston, AL; Roscoe Merritt of Tullahoma, TN; three sisters - Mrs. Carrie Gunn of Tullahoma, TN, Mrs. Tinnie Spicer of Nashville, TN, Mrs. Della Sparks of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
